My Vision for Persona 6

I've played Tales of Zestiria, so I know what you mean. The transformation would only affect the avatar in Soul Space, merely reflecting the mental state of the unstable person in the real world. As for where to draw the line on what makes them change into monsters, I'd say that'd be when they get to the point of wanting to do serious hard to someone or something that would otherwise ruin their lives. For example, a student planning on doing something harmful to get back at bullies. Or a boss trying to blackmail employees to take advantage of them. The point would be to stop these people from crossing that line in the sand, and doing something they and others would only regret.

Interesting. It reminds me of malevolence in Tales of Zestiria. The hard part is knowing where to draw the line on their transformation.

Dai, my friend, this is a brilliant idea. I especially like the idea of bringing back the male/female gender choice. It's the main reason I tracked down P3P. And trust me, that wasn't an easy find. I honestly thought Kasumi in P5 Royal would be something like that. Only to find out she's just an addition to the main cast. I still didn't complain, though. If I had to come up with my own idea, I'd probably take some inspiration from the Digital Devil Saga spin-offs. I'm thinking of a technology base "other world" called "Soul Space", which would be like a supernatural spirit grip that mirrors the real world. And people's souls exist here as "Avatars". When someone's emotional state might become unstable and they get to the point of doing whatever the unthinkable is, their avatar could turn into a monster and make things worse. People that can see into "Soul Space" have the ability to enter and use Personas to fight these avatars. Like your idea, there would be an organization that monitors the Soul Space, and the protagonist would be the newest young recruit. Whenever these avatars go berzerk, the protag. and friends jump into Soul Space to quell the avatar and bring peace to that person's heart.
