Immediate vampire resurrections... Not a bad villianous Idea. If your army is smaller, the smart thing would be to wish all your soldiers had was, 'immortality' or a few hundred resets each.

"That which remains is mine to claim" vs "As your lives were mine to take, so your deaths are mine to harvest." It perfectly highlights the differences between the two, and absolutely calls Jason out as being incredibly melodramatic. And if it is the exact same essence power, it's showing that the chants are specific to the user.

Shirt's been forgetting a lot lately but I don't blame him, he was sick and not writing for a while, and theres a LOT to keep track of in this series lol The most annoying thing like that to me, was that Jason already summised that messengers were artifical, and Boris tells him a little bit about originals briefly (in book 11 I believe). Yet in the next book when Jamis Fran Muskar tells Jason about the originals, etc., Shirt seems to have forgotten Jason already had some general knowledge about them (from Boris, Mango-Shot's study, and his own observations). A bit annoying but oh well. I'm hoping that when the series is finished he'll go back over the whole series to make something like "second-editions" in which he fixes the stuff that doesn't add up (e.g. Cressida Vane, a silver-ranker, dying from being thrown into a wall. Gold rank attributes or not, it's been determined now that a silver ranker can't be 1-shot by even an actual gold ranker unless they're specifically an assassination specialist, and even then its not 100%). Fingers crossed! lol
