2023-06-01 14:59:30 +0000 UTCnice, the Clone Wars is a great series, I actually liked the prequels growing up for the most part, they have a few issues, but so does the original trilogy to be fair, I think they're underappreciated, but given how awful Star Wars has been under Disney people have started re-evaluating them in a positive light thankfully, people owe George Lucas an apology lol. The Clone Wars series gives the prequels a lot of good development for the war and character that was a bit lacking at times in the films, I mean they did have to do some big time jumps in the films given Anakin was a little kid in the first one, so it makes sense. I get why you're hesitant to do the film so I understand if you do ultimately go with just seeing it yourself instead of posting it, the way I look at it is that it's just an extended pilot essentially for the series, because that's basically what it is.

2023-06-01 12:47:26 +0000 UTCThis series basically rehabilitated Star Wars in the eyes of fans after the "meh" prequel trilogy. A lot of other more recent series (Obi Wan, Rebels, The Mandalorian) all have characters or plot points that continue from this series as its a pretty large staple of Star Wars lore now. That said, a lot of recent Star Wars releases have been mixed in quality and reception, I think the Rogue One movie is probably the only one that's universally praised. If you only ever see this series then you're in a good spot in terms of Star Wars content.
