Honestly, I have the same problem as Bakugou. Consistently since I was a kid, I'd really only end up learning the names of about five or six people in a class of twenty or so students by the end of the semester/year, usually the people I'd sit next to or personally interact with. It's only gotten worse since I started attending college because I don't see them everyday. These days, I'd be lucky to remember three names. I hear their names a lot, but it just kind of goes in one ear and out the other since I'm more worried about taking notes and stuff. I've been in groups for projects where I didn't know a single name of the other students. I tend to get around it by starting conversations with "Hey" or just jumping right into talking with them, cutting out the need to actually refer to them by name. Plus, unlike with other moments, Bakugo didn't even really seem angry or trying to put them down. He just genuinely needed a reminder of their names and abilities.

The creators really big on showing off all the characters he's made and making them all important which Naruto had that issue with some of the Ninjas not being as important in Shippuden.
