2023-07-24 07:16:31 +0000 UTCI enjoy your methodical way of exploring such a confined terrain. There are a lot of optional but still cool passages around that place. Both the undead burg and this place are some of my favorite areas because of how interconnected they are.I hope you will pick up demon souls too soon, that was the start of much of this from-soft goodness with some very cool ideas that were not really implemented later again. Probably because of how expensive some of those implementations were.

2023-07-23 19:18:06 +0000 UTCThis was a comfy "let's just clear the Painted World of Ariamis real quick" episode. Really liked it! The Painted World really has to be one of my favorite areas in Dark Souls. It just has a different vibe from the rest of the game, and the fact that you spared Priscilla made it all the better. The idea that she and the rest of the beings in it were dumped there because they didn't fit in the "normal world" and she was called "an abomination" always makes me kinda sad. Maybe that's why she calls the creatures there kind, they are kind around her but fiercely protect her from threats? Don't forget to pump some levels in your pyromancy flame, and buy some spells from Laurentius! It's very good to have on the side and it's just souls to upgrade :) (or join a hidden covenant near Quelaag for another good one. I hope this doesn't fall too far in the spoiler/backseat category) Another great episode, on to the next!
