Ok, so 3DS Max 18 to create bone structure for SMP objects? Thanks, will give it a try.

I’m not a Blender user so I can’t say for sure. The current method I use for SMP weights does not require any sort of skeleton to be loaded. The only requirements would be having your mesh with basic vanilla weights and exporting it as a Nif. I use: 3DS Max 2018 Nifskope NotePad++ I don’t think I’ll be of much help if Blender is the method you use.

Say, a question - what software are you using for setting up the 'skeleton' for HDT-SMP parts? There seems to be no feasible way to export rigging from Blender into anything Skyrim-compatible. I did add SMP stuff to a couple of my projects, but those were mostly usingexisting skeleton for some similar item and using Blender to adapt my mesh to it - and then manually editing the xml for needed behavior - but that takes forever. Gotta be an easier way.. Thanks!
