In other news, I have started work on Scaramouche, but owing to really bad resolution and also the summer holidays, I don't know when it will be done, because I want it to be Properly Good :)

The last week of my life has mostly consisted of decorating, but in an effort to stay off the Internet I have also been doing a little bit of keyboard practice. It squeaks like a mouse whenever you play A3, but I usually play with headphones so I don't notice :) Happy Monday!

Audiobook update

Attempt number 3 at recording the audiobook is, I’m glad to say, going much better than attempts 1 & 2. That said, I’m still going to end up re-recording chapters 1-4. Still, I have now recorded up to the end of chapter 15, hooray! I started chapter 16, but right as I got to the Shovel Talk between Robin and Leo, the magpies came back.

I was determined to get this filmed before the plastering man comes to knock chunks off the walls, and by gum I have managed it! ($3+ Patrons can see the not quite final version right now, but it does not feature this little guy, who I created this afternoon in my unexpected extra half hour when I didn't have to do the school run)
