This chapter will be a bit larger than the last couple, as I want to wrap up the Tashana story arc in one final go.

Planning the sequel!

I do like the idea of doing a fantasy story at some point, but when I finish John Blake's adventures, I'm thinking of a sequel set in the same universe with a fresh cast of characters. It'll take about me about 6 months time to wrap this one up I imagine, and I'll launch straight int...

Pledge Growth

I saw there was lots of curiosity about how the pledges have grown, and Wookey asked to see a graph of pledges over time.

The blue bar represents the pledge figure for the first chapter posted per month. It lowers with each subsequent post as people reach their pledge/month limit (I'm guessing, but don't know for certain).

Chapter 71 status update

Hey everyone,

Sorry I haven't been active on here for the last week or so. I wanted to get stuck into this chapter as I've been looking forward to writing it for months!

I've written about 20k so far, so I'm just wrapping up the final part at the moment. I've released everything I've done up until now to my editors already, so it won't be long before I'll be able to post it here!

It's the biggest one so far, weighing in at just over 60k words, so I hope you enjoy it.

I'll still be doing some minor punctuation and grammar editing of the second half, but there won't be any major changes at this point. I thought I'd post it now, rather than make you wait any longer (As per the recent Patron poll about when you wanted the release).

Part 2 is finished! I've just handed it over to my editors, and I hope to have it up on the site in a day or so, once I've done the bulk of the editing.

It was 32k words, taking the entire chapter to 60k, which makes it the biggest yet! :-)

I just finished Chapter 70, or at least I've written 26k words and I've come to a half-decent stopping  point. There's a lot going on in this chapter, so stopping anywhere is going to be problematic. It covers the 10 day journey from Dragon March through to the Unclaimed Wastes.

Releasing new chapters...

Hey everyone!

I thought I'd take a quick poll (new Patreon functionality!) to see when you would prefer me to post a new chapter to Patreon.

At the moment I've been posting it here after number 3) then updating that version once I've finished editing. It varies a bit depending on when my various editors get back to me, but the chapters normally follow these stages.

Here's the profile view, showing how the Trankarans are below the Terran Federation, with the Maliri above. Again, the Terran Federation is hemmed in on all sides (or at least they've expanded in every direction as far as they can).

I created two,  a plan view and the profile view. Here is a plan view, showing the various empires that have hemmed in the Terran Federation.
