Hey everyone,

I had planned out the rest of the battle, but as I wrote the scenes, I decided to alter how the battle plays out. I rewrote things, and have changed the sequence of the upcoming fight to make it flow better. As I was making such big changes, I decided to hold off releasing the end of chapter 168 until i was happy with 169, just in case I needed to do some extra rewrites.

I was readmitted to hospital with more gall stone problems, as another one got stuck in my bile duct. 

I was supposed to be having surgery on the 2nd August to have the gallbladder removed, but because of the problems they encountered last time and the internal bleeding, I've been referred to a liver specialist surgeon in London.

So I'm kind of in a limbo at...

Status Update

Hey everyone,

After recovering from the surgery, I've been in and out of hospital for more tests. I then had to have a course of IV antibiotics to deal with the infection they found, but they seem to think they've cleared it up now. 

The surgeon isn't confident that they can do the gall bladder removal operation at my local hospital, because of the complications they encountere...

Status Update

I just got home from the hospital and feel a bit like a pincushion at the moment.

I was in for keyhole surgery to remove my gall bladder, but they encountered a load of infection, so I've actually got 4 keyhole surgery wounds now. In the end, they could have done open surgery, but it was too risky with the infection, so I'm being dosed up with antibiotics to clear that up.

Assuming there are no complications after surgery on the 7th, I should be back home the same day. Apparently the recovery time is only a couple of days, so I'm hoping to be able to get back to writing the next chapter without too much delay.

With a bit of luck, I hope to be able to complete a couple of chapters this month, not including chapter 163 which I'll finish next week.

I've been in and out of hospital again this month, with another operation to remove a second gall stone. Fortunately, the hospital expedited my surgery, so I'll be having my gall bladder removed on 7th June. 

I'm currently still working on Chapter 163. I'll publish the chapter later tonight when I've finished working on the next couple of scenes.

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all your well wishes. I'm out of hospital again, and made a full recovery after the operation to remove the gall stone. I feel much better already, and no longer look like a Simpsons character. 

I'll have to have another operation in a few months time to remove the gall bladder, but hopefully I won't suffer any more problems until then.

Hey everyone,

I've been suffering some ongoing health issues recently, so I've been in and out of hospital trying to get them diagnosed. Apparently the pain/jaundice/nausea/vomiting etc was caused by gall stones, one of which is now blocking a bile duct.

I've got an MRI lined up, then a couple of surgeries, so I'm hoping I'll be fully recovered soon.
