I'm currently up to 27,500 words on chapter 130 and I'm aiming to release it tomorrow afternoon as soon as I hit 30k words.
This next chapter is going to be a double-sized one called "Daddy issues.". The first half mainly sets up plot arcs for the second half, but if I find it ends too abruptly, I might give you a preview of the next few scenes to wrap up the mee...

Hey everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know where I'm at with Three Square Meals.
I've written the first half of the next chapter (129) and just handed it over to my editors. I'll get cracking with the second half tomorrow and all being well, it should be finished by the 10th January.

Unfortunately, this month has been a bit of a disaster. It all started out so well with the Sarinia scenes I added to chapter 126.2, but then I cracked a tooth while out for dinner with the wife. :-(

I've handed over part 1 of chapter 126 to my editors and I'm working on part 2. The first part was 18k words, so I should be done with the second part in about five days or so (25th). I'll get started on chapter 127 immediately afterwards, but it's highly unlikely I'll finish it before the end of the month. Most likely 127 will be released in the first week of October.

As I was writing some of the scenes in the latest chapter, it got me thinking about bridge crews. Sometimes I give the minor characters like engineers and tactical officers names, other times I just refer to them by their job title.
Which do you prefer?
