Wow...
When I started up my Patreon site 18 months ago, I never for one moment thought that we'd be at the point we are today. I had convinced myself that if I even managed to get 20 patrons it would be a minor miracle, and I vacillated for weeks, trying to decide if it was worth all the hassle of setting up a site.

I rewrote the whole thing, cleaning up a lot of the dialogue and the excessive use of adverbs. I've also added a number of extra small scenes, mostly focused on the Ashanath and discussions amongst the High Council as well as extra detail to existing scenes.

I've just handed over part 1 to my editors, which is 17.5k so far. I expect I'll finish part 2 by about the 5th or 6th of April depending on how much time I get to write it over the next few days.

I thought you might be interested to see a variant of the coverart I plan to use for the second eBook. Sadly amazon seems to have rather strict rules about female nudity, so I asked the artist to do two versions, the second with Alyssa in her jumpsuit.
The scene is of course from Chapter 5, where the Fool's Gold stumbles across the corvette Griffon docked with a pirate freighter....
